Aortic heart valve bioprosthesis
The Avalus bioprosthesis Model 400, is magnetic resonance (MR) safe. The valve contains no metal and, therefore, poses no known hazards in all MR environments. MR scanning at 3.0 T and 1.5 T can be performed immediately after implantation. The valve will not cause any harm to the patient when exposed to MR scanning.
