The implant has not been tested for safety and compatibility with postoperative Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). However, the implant mostly comprises dimethyl siloxane and non-metallic components deemed non-ferromagnetic in these quantities according to the literature. Moreover, the implant is presented as MRI safe in the mrisafety.com database with 1.5 and 3 Tesla. Consequently, the Adhesix® Bioring® device is considered MRI safe.
