Anchored bone-conduction hearing implant system
The sound processor is MR Unsafe. If you need to undergo MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) the sound processor must be disconnected. The implant and the abutment can remain in place. When scheduling and visiting the location of your MRI be sure to inform the doctor or technician that you have a bone anchored system (for children and mentally disabled persons this responsibility falls to the caregiver).
