Bare-metal carotid artery stent

The Xact®Stent exhibits minor magnetic field interactions with respect to translational attraction (2-degrees deflection, tested at a maximum spatial gradient, 720 gauss/cm) and showed no torque during exposure to a 3-Tesla MR system. Therefore, there is no additional risk to a patient with the Xact® Stent with respect to movement, dislodgment, or migration using an MR system with a static magnetic field of 3-Tesla or less.
